NATCHEZ SITE RENOVATIONS, JULY 2002

One of the most striking, and immediately noticeable, images of the "new" Camp Natchez is the barren main campus, stripped of its grass, shrubbery and all but the sturdiest trees. Here you can see bunks 2 and 4 on the left, and the girls' bunks, with the impressive new dining hall (pictured below) adjacent to Bunk 15. Many of the doors have been replaced, and the girls' bunk building has a new roof, but little renovation has been done to the existing buildings.
